Growing demand for state-of-the art print and apply labellers and robust automated pallet labelling systems, has led Industrial Labelling Systems Ltd (ILS) to expand its premises by 6,000sqft and make two additional appointments to its team.

The Manchester-based business, which reported an increase in sales of around 20% in 2018, has appointed Dean Sherrington to boost the business’s technical capabilities while Diane Hyde becomes its new Operations Manager.

A highly experienced engineer, Dean honed his technical expertise in the crane and demolition industries. His remit at ILS will include overseeing and fulfilling the installation and maintenance of a range of print and apply labelling machines into sectors encompassing food and drink, construction, logistics and warehousing, healthcare, automotive, retail and e-commerce. A key part of Dean’s role will also include bringing client orders to a timely completion whilst working collaboratively with customers to guarantee the minimum of disruption to production cycles.

Meanwhile the firm’s new Operations Manager, Diane, has more than 13 years’ experience in the wholesale, food and drink and catering industries and comes with an impressive track record in management positions.

Part of Diane’s vision for ILS is to offer world class customer service and manage the workshop team in a way that delivers outstanding results for the business and its clients. She intends to focus on building customer relationships and will make sure the business keeps delivering the latest technology and reliability for which ILS is renowned.

She commented: “It is fantastic to join ILS’s team at such an exciting time for the company. One of the key aspects which attracted me to the firm was its committed professionalism to delivering first class products and service for customers. I hope to build further on this success and will be working closely with both clients and our technical team to nurture sustainable and successful partnerships.”

ILS offers full after-sales support and maintenance service for its clients. Whether that service requires an on-site visit, remotely controlled problem-solving or guidance over the phone, there will always be professional support available to ensure its labelling equipment continues to deliver optimal speeds and efficiencies in the long term.

With staff that have over 30 years’ experience in the automation sector, this important growth period for the business takes its ability to respond rapidly to industry’s print apply or part marking needs to the next level.
